Himawari Preschool Summer Camp 2008

Once again summer is just around the corner. Time to start thinking of camp. But how about taking camp to a whole other level… or country! Now for our 4th time, Himawari Preschool is proud to announce a JAPANESE CULUTRAL camp for kids 3 (toilet-trained) through 8 years of age; the ideal time to start learning about other cultures and languages! Give your child a chance to become multicultural, and have fun playing with their new Japanese friends.

1st Week (7/21/08– 7/25/08) Japanese Camp Adventure
2nd Week (7/28/08– 8/01/08) Japanese Store Play
3rd Week (8/04/08– 8/08/08) Japanese Festival

Times Daily: 9AM – 3PM (bring a lunch)
PLEASE NOTE: for young children, they must have already completed toilet training

REGISTRATION, TUITION and BUS COST:
1 week $20 registration fee, $20 materials fee, $180 tuition, $50 bus RT or $38 one-way
2 weeks $20 registration fee, $40 materials fee, $340 tuition, $100 bus RT or $76 one-way
3 weeks $20 registration fee, $60 materials fee, $495 tuition, $150 bus RT or $114 one-way

MATERIALS FEE: This weekly fee of $20 covers materials, field trips, snacks, tickets, etc.

REGISTRATION FEE: this $20 fee is part of our preschool registration process. If your child enrolls for the full 2008-09 school year, this $20 will be deducted from the regular $50 yearly enrollment fee.

BUS FEE: if desired, your child can ride on one of our school buses: we have a bus that stops in West Bloomfield and Novi, and another bus that stops in Ann Arbor and Canton (NOTE: this bus route is in addition to our regular bus route, and will only be available if 4 or more children are riding from each bus stop -- we will refund Ann Arbor / Canton bus fees if we don:t have enough riders signed up. We will decide this based on users signed up until 7/14/2008). For more details on the bus routes and times, please see our website.

PAYMENT: To ensure a place for your child, please send us your payment as soon as possible. We accept cash or checks (payable to “Himawari Preschool LLC”) only.

REFUNDS: If we receive notice of your child’s cancellation on or before JUNE 25, all cost and fees will be refunded after deducting a $50 CANCELLATION FEE. After June 25 there are no refunds.
